The Tambat Ali calendar was created to capture and showcase the vibrant culture, history, and craftsmanship of the Tambat Ali neighborhood. The project aimed to document and celebrate the rich heritage of this area, known for its traditional copperware craftsmanship, through the lens of photography. Each calendar page serves as a visual and informative tribute to the people, craftsmanship, and everyday life of Tambat Ali.

How
The design process included:
Photographic Collection: Extensive photography sessions to capture the essence of Tambat Ali, focusing on key subjects such as artisans at work, local landscapes, cultural elements, and the copperware that defines the area.
Information and Captions: Researching and gathering historical and cultural information about each image to provide context and enrich the viewer’s understanding of the subject matter.
Layout and Design: Creating a visually appealing layout that features one photograph per month, with informative captions that describe the image and offer insights into the history or significance of the scene depicted.
Cultural Storytelling: The project aimed to use each image not just as a piece of art, but as a visual storyteller, preserving and sharing the traditions of Tambat Ali.
